Connect your agent to BuilderStudio

BuilderStudio runs an MCP server, so any agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol can list your canvases, read their structure, patch the node graph, place assets and run workflows. Each of those is a tool call, and each tool asks for its own scope.

Two ways in

• Chat apps such as ChatGPT and Claude add BuilderStudio as a remote connector and sign in with OAuth.
• Coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor add the server from the command line, or download the BuilderStudio CLI and drive it directly.

Keys or OAuth

Workspace API keys are created in workspace settings and scoped to that workspace. OAuth uses the authorization code flow with PKCE. Connect your agent walks through each client.
