Publish a site from your canvas
Only pages publish, so start by checking your canvas has them, then choose an address.
Add a page
Pick the Frame tool and click a preset in the right rail. A preset places a page. A frame you drag out on the canvas never publishes, though you can right-click an artboard to convert it.
Set a home page and paths
Open the Pages list. Right-click a page and choose Set as home page, then give each other page a URL path in Page settings.
Choose an address
Choose Publish site at the top right. Type the name you want in front of
.builder.website.Preview the draft
Press Preview draft in the dialog to see the site before it goes live.
Publish
Press Publish. The dialog checks the site first and names anything stopping it, such as a missing home page or two pages sharing a path. Fix those and press Publish again.
After it is live
- Change the canvas, open the dialog again and press Publish changes. Your live site stays as it was until you do.
- Open the site from Sites in your dashboard. Its Versions tab lists earlier publishes and can restore one.
- Publishing options in the dialog let you schedule a publish. Take offline stops visitors reaching the site and keeps its versions.
