Is BuilderStudio a design tool or a website builder?
Both. The same infinite canvas is where you design interfaces, vectors, and media and where you publish real, production websites — so there is no hand-off between a design file and the live site.
How do agents, MCP, the API, and the CLI fit in?
Every plan exposes your workspace over an MCP server, a scoped API, and a CLI. Agents in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Codex can read and act on live canvas and workflow state — and hand work back to you — instead of blindly clicking a UI.
How does AI billing work?
Free includes a one-time $2 AI balance. Paid plans add a recurring monthly AI balance ($2 Starter, $5 Pro, $50 Studio). Spend is at cost — no markup. Run out? Top up anytime, or connect your own provider keys (BYOK) and pay nothing through us. Promotional balance does not roll over. Per-model usage rates are listed on the Models page.
Can I publish more than one site?
Yes. Unlike per-site tools, every paid plan bundles multiple sites into one subscription — 3 on Starter, 10 on Pro, 15 on Studio. No per-site fees.
Do you charge for bandwidth or traffic?
No. Sites are served on Cloudflare's edge, so we don't meter bandwidth or bill overages.
What does the subscription vs. AI balance pay for?
Your subscription buys platform access — the studio, sites, seats, agents, and publishing. Included AI balance is a bundled promotional grant for generation on our keys (it resets each billing cycle and does not roll over). Purchased top-ups stay in your purchased balance.
