From canvas to code

  1. Connect

    Add the Builder Studio MCP server to your agent and sign in. MCP is the protocol agents use to call another product’s tools. Setup guides.

  2. Design

    The agent writes pages onto a canvas as editable layers and checks each one with a screenshot. You edit the same layers by hand.

  3. Take it to code

    Connect the full tool set at /api/mcp/full and the agent can also export a page as a React component or an Astro project, and open a draft pull request in a GitHub repository connected to your workspace. These tools are experimental.

  • Your agent

    Setup guides for ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Grok Bot.

  • Sign in your way

    OAuth with the workspace and permissions you approve, or a workspace API key.

  • Talk to Builder

    Send Builder a message from your agent, then approve, decline or stop its work.

Add Builder Studio to Claude Code

The command registers the server with OAuth, so Claude Code signs in with your Builder Studio account.

Questions

Can my agent publish the site?

There is no publish tool for agents. Your agent can ask Builder to publish and answer Builder’s approval, and it can restore an earlier published version.
