Workflow
The part of a canvas that makes material for your pages without publishing itself: prompts, documents, and the images, video and audio generated from them.
A canvas holds two kinds of work side by side. Pages are the site you publish. The workflow is everything around them that helps make those pages: a brief, a prompt, a set of generated images to choose from.
How it works in Builder Studio
- Documents: notes, specs and briefs written on the canvas. A document never publishes.
- Generated media: images, video and audio made from the Generate panel in the bottom toolbar. Pick a model, write a prompt, and for images add reference pictures if you want them. Results land on the canvas as layers.
Generated media belongs to both sides: place an image or a video in a page and it publishes with that page. Media left beside the pages, and every document, stays off the published site. The Layers panel can show site and workflow layers apart, and Tidy up arranges a workflow's connected layers.
Generations run on our servers, not in your browser tab. They are paid from your workspace's AI balance, or billed by your provider when you bring your own API keys. The Free plan includes a US$2 one-time AI balance, and paid plans add a monthly amount. For video, the Generate button shows the price before you run it.
Builder, the agent inside the product, can plan a set of images, video or sound for a page and place the results, using its built-in generation skill.
